# Overview

**Cloth Tool** is a standalone Windows app for building GTA V addon clothing packs for FiveM and singleplayer. Import your `.ydd` / `.ytd` files, preview them on a real freemode ped, optimize the textures, and export a ready‑to‑drop resource — all from one window.

## What it does

* **Live 3D preview** — see your garment on an actual `mp_m` / `mp_f` freemode ped, with your own textures applied, before you build anything.
* **One‑click packaging** — outputs a clean FiveM `stream` resource with correct GTA naming and a generated `fxmanifest.lua`.
* **Texture optimization** — resize to power‑of‑two, recompress to the right BCn format and generate mipmaps automatically.
* **Cloth Doctor** — catches broken naming, missing textures and limit overflows *before* they crash your server.
* **Durty import** — open your existing Durty Cloth Tool (`.dctproj`) projects and keep working.
* **Team collaboration** — built‑in Git source control and version history so a whole team can work on one pack.
